PREVENTION OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT (POSH)

An overview of POSH Act - POSH Policy- To create Gender Awareness. Gender Issues - Types of Sexual Harassment at Workplace - Effective Communication skills at workplace especially oriented towards gender sensitization, comprising of the following aspects: Importance of the prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace- Avoiding Hostile Work Environment -The Method of functioning of the Internal Committee. Steps for conducting enquiry-An understanding of related laws in India (IPC, Criminal law Amendments, Constitution Law etc.)-A view on International Covenants and precedents of High Courts and Supreme courts.-Understanding the travel of law from Visaka guidelines-Psychological perspective in understanding the issue of participants, preventing policies.
